I am happy with my body right now.

I’m happy because when I eat I don’t freak out if its over 200 calories. I’m happy because I don’t feel guilty when I eat sweets. When I look at the mirror I don’t see the added pounds anymore, I see an athletic body. I see a person that can run 8 miles and I see an athlete that’s confident in her abilities. Yeah I don’t have the stick thin body I wanted so badly but what I do have is the confidence to go to school without makeup, to not cover my stomach with my backpack when I sit down, and to look in the mirror and see a strong person looking back with at me. I have the mentality I’ve always wanted.

WEIGHT LOSS BUDDY PROGRAM!

If any one wants a weight loss buddy then please message me! :)

REQUIREMENTS!

When you message me please include you age. This is very important.

There are really no requirements just as long as you will be there for your buddy and help motivate each other.

I will be pairing up the people that message me. You don’t need to be following me. (although it is greatly appreciated) I know how annoying it is to have to follow someone’s blog when there is nothing of interest on it.

The goal with this program is to let the whole world know that you NEVER have to go through with weight loss alone. For me having a friend help rid me of my unhealthy habits. I’m going to tell you now that I was twice as motivated because I had someone to let my frustrations, worries, and successes out to.

It was not long ago when I realized how healthy you are is not measured by how much you weigh.

To me being healthy is being able to run a mile without completely dying. Being healthy means to be able to do 40 consecutive situps, at least 5 push ups, not eating when you’re full, getting enough nutrition, limiting how much sugar you consume, eating whole foods, and making the right choices. 

If you want that cookie go for it. Just don’t eat 4 or five. I mean at my school each cookie is a dollar! That’s almost five dollars already which i can buy a three dollar salad with. And use the leftover money to buy a cookie. You get the best of both worlds that way.

There are a lot of fundraisers at my school. 1 in 3 people are selling one dollar popular sweets such as m&ms, skittles, and reese’s. Those treats are all more than 250 calories so I opt for the twizzlers or the sour straws( my favorite anyways) which is the healthier more smart choice.

Being healthy doesn’t mean depriving yourself of normal indulgences. I mean deprivation is unhealthy when you think about it. 

Make sure you get the nutrition you need to grow healthy and strong and then you can have that slice of cake :)

I ran a mile in pe today (10:30). My usual times are around 8:00~ BUT it was windy. and not just wind but cold wind. Running in the wind is not my thing so I just jogged very slowly while talking with my friends. After school I had swim intramurals and mastered freestyle :) Started on flips too but stil working on that.

Okay maybe I should ease into healthy eating because today I failed. Ten whips with my mother’s bamboo stick if I do not complete goal number 1!

goal number 1- Don’t eat during 1st,2nd, or 3rd period.
